Trust.

The good days. The bad days. The bad weeks. The good weeks. The long weeks. Trust the process. Trust that your fitness is building.

Especially as it’s getting hot and humid, it’s increasingly challenging to see fitness gains right now. Runs feel harder. Outdoor bikes feel harder. But I can feel my fitness improving, even though the humidity makes it harder. Trust the instincts. Trust the process.

It’s easy to fall into the trap of only evaluating on the short term. Observe the greater trend and continue to work. Nothing happens overnight. Live in the moment but plan in decades.
